The previous week's post on the 25 most famous English movie quotes was quite popular, so here are a few more.

These movie lines are not quite as well-known as the first group, but a lot of people will recognize them.

    These are just silly insults spoken in a fake French accent.

    "Yippee-kay-yay" is an expression of excitement that cowboys and people like that used in the Wild West in American history. This action hero has added a modern twist to it.

     

  4. “Here's looking at you, kid.” (Casablanca)

    The speaker is saying goodbye and good luck to someone.

     

  5. “The first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club.” (Fight Club)

     

  6. “All right, Mr. DeMille. I'm ready for my closeup.” (Sunset Blvd.)

     

  7. “I've always depended on the kindness of strangers.” (A Streetcar Named Desire)

    "Money" is slang for "cool".

    This is a pun. "Surely" sounds like the woman's name "Shirley".

    This one is pretty violent and has a lot of bad language, so be careful...

    This phrase actually gets quoted a lot. "You had me at hello" means "You convinced me from the very beginning."
