“Only 2 left in stock — order soon!”
You're on an online shopping site. You're looking at a listing for a book that's on sale. In the information next to the item, there's a sentence which says this.
“Thank you all for coming. Wow, what a great turnout.”
You organized an event for people who want to practice giving speeches in English. A lot of people came to the event. Now you're going to welcome everyone and introduce the first speaker. This is the first thing you say.
“She was yelling at us and barking out orders.”
Earlier today, the Vice President of your division at work seemed to be really angry about something. You say this while you're telling a coworker about it.
“Valerie's really on a rampage today, huh?”
