“You want to rent some movies?”
You're spending a Saturday evening with your family and everyone is trying to decide what to do together. You make this suggestion.
“It's not like we need any more food.”
You have a lot of leftover food from a party you had yesterday. You suggest that you shouldn't cook dinner tonight. You offer this explanation.
“You remember how you used to always play that song on your dad's stereo?”
You run into a close childhood friend that you haven't seen in several years. You're talking to each other about the past. You say this to remind him of something that happened to you a few times when you were both kids.
“We could have just ordered one dish and split it.”
